What people say:
Testimonials from our trainings, work with young people and community based work:
‘This group has been the first time I have done anything like this! It was so helpful for me over the last 2 years. Being a part of this group has been a big support during my exams and other stressful things. I enjoyed the check-ins, the body work and the relaxation as well as the fun tea breaks and social time.’ Age 18 -young woman.
‘It is better than the Xbox, football and all that …’ age 15- young man
‘…you can’t explain it (to friends), you just have to say ‘try it’. It just sounds weird but it can be good fun and is actually great.’ Age 16 young man
The training that you delivered for the Woodcraft Folk staff and parents on ‘Managing Behaviour’ was excellent. It was very thorough and a few people said it was the best training they had received, one said it was life changing for their view on parenting. –Anna Bonallack- Director of Creative Sustainability and primary School Teacher.
'The mentoring training has helped me to become a far more present parent and a better teacher. Thankyou' . Sally- teacher and mentor.
'The Pathways team are all highly experienced in their field of work and they are brilliant to work with. Ianto and Liz wrote and delivered a 3 day programme for our students which included group mentoring, co gender work and gender specific group work, leadership games and a whole raft of creative activities keeping a balance between engagement and spaciousness. It was lots of fun and the young people were able to express themselves in a way that most of our staff hadn’t expected.
Very inspiring and an outstanding example of what is possible.
Thankyou . We hope to get you into our College to continue the work with our students-

'It was great to work in partnership with you and the Pathways team - thankyou for sharing your experience and skills with us. We learnt a lot through working with you and participating in the group work you ran with the teenagers. I am continuing to use the check ins with my team meetings which are really effective.

‘Thank you for showing me and the group what we can do together and how it can be. It was a lot of fun and you helped us to create such a supportive environment together which really helped me to get through a very challenging and stressful time in my life’- age 19- young woman
It has been such an important part of ….’s life and thank you so much for the support you have given us as a family during a very difficult time. Mother of teenage son.
‘Being in the group helped me to be able listen to others and to understand that I am not the only one who has problems. At the time when my Mum was very ill and dying it was a place I could go where I could just be. Hearing from others in the group, helped me to not keep myself isolated with judgements that no one else’s problems were as bad as mine etc.
It helped me to feel more connected and supported with caring people around me' who also had challenging things going on . Age 18 young woman.

It was a lot of fun too which really helepd' age 19 young woman.
'It is amazing to feel so accepted here and to not have to worry about what other people think of me all the time. It is the most accepting and safe place I have experienced. Such a relief. I really appreciate the slow pace and the way we can speak and listen to each other , taking it in turns without anyone butting in!' age 18 -young woman.
